Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 (10-ounce) package frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 (14-ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes for a hint of spice

How to Make:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare Spinach and Artichokes:

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped onion, sautéing until onions are translucent and garlic is fragrant.

Stir in thawed spinach and chopped artichoke hearts. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through. Remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare the Creamy Base:

In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth and creamy.

Combine and Season:

Add the sautéed spinach and artichoke mixture to the creamy base. Mix well.

Stir in shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Adjust seasoning according to your taste.

Bake the Dip:

Transfer the mixture into a baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Serve:

Chef’s Note:

For a quicker version, you can also prepare this dip in a slow cooker. Simply combine all ingredients and cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
